**Water Secrets Unveiled: Breakthrough Science & Potent Therapies**

Turning Water Into Medicine

My fascination with water began in 1996. I was browsing through the collection of old books in the library of my alma mater, NUNM, which was NCNM at the time, back when it was a mere college and not yet a university. The book I incidentally pulled from the shelf one day was The Water Wizard by Victor Schauberger. That book not only changed my understanding of water, but it is not an exaggeration to say that, in very specific ways, it changed the course of my life.

Writing in the early 20th century, Schauberger described his observations of water and how it “behaved” differently in the natural environment where he lived and worked, which was in the forests of Austria. For example, he observed that water in nature exhibited a different buoyancy when floating logs under a full moon vs a new moon. He noted that natural water will always flow a curved path, never a straight one. Flowing water generates vortexes whenever possible, minimizes exposure to the sun, and gains its ability to nourish life through interactions with its natural environment.

There is much more to Schauberger’s book, but suffice it to say that I was mesmerized by it and wanted to learn all I could about these unique properties water could embody. In that search my next deep dive was very different. I somehow stumbled upon the fascinating, revolutionary, and oppressively technical writings of Dr. Gilbert Ling. For reasons lost to me now I started with his virtually incomprehensible book documenting years of his laboratory research titled In Search of the Physical Basis of Life. I read that around the years 96/97. I still have my copy of the book, now with extensive notes in the margins of almost every page that have accumulated over the course of several readings.

Ling was the first to document that water within living cells takes on a unique structure. That unique structure imparts to biological water a different freezing point and density, different solubilities for various minerals, and other life-sustaining properties. I couldn’t believe how much cellular activity Ling had documented as being dependent upon that water structure, from hormone activity to energy production to the functioning of cell receptors and much else. In fact the technology behind modern MRI, an imaging technique employed thousands of times every day in this country, can be traced directly back to Ling’s discoveries about cellular water.

While his findings had profound implications for our understanding of cell physiology, it was all conveyed in the extremely technical language of basic laboratory scientific research, mostly biochemistry. Through a series of correspondences with him I conveyed my concern about this, emphasizing that I thought it imperative his theories and discoveries reach a wider audience. He assured me he was working on a new book that would be written more for a general audience. When that book finally came out, titled Life at the Cell and Below-Cell Level, I read it with the sad realization that Ling was actually not capable of writing in a way that was understandable to anyone other than a scientist with extensive training in cell physiology. I contemplated taking on the task myself, but I was in school at the time and a project like that seemed oppressively time-consuming.

I continued studying Ling’s research and writings while working my way through naturopathic school. Then, the year I graduated (2001), Dr. Gerald Pollack of the University of Washington published a book titled Cells, Gels, and the Engines of Life. It was a complete reimagining of cellular physiology, it was grounded in Ling’s body of research (which Pollack openly acknowledged), and it presented it all in a way that was much more accessible. [Note: others I’ve loaned the book to have remarked that it isn’t nearly as accessible as I described it to them, but I assure you compared to Ling’s writing it reads like a children’s book.]

Around the same time I was starting my clinical practice. My fascination with the unique properties of water – both as it exists in nature and within our cells and tissues – continued to roll around in my thinking throughout my early years of practice. It was clear to me that both the source and biological structuring of water was foundational to health. I was trying to understand how that information could translate into specific kinds of therapeutic strategies. It wasn’t until 2013 that the next and most dramatic leap in my water research took place.

I had recently made contact with Dr. Stephanie Seneff of MIT. I was fascinated by a paper she published (on a different topic entirely) and sent her an email telling her so. That started a correspondence between us that led to both multiple research collaborations and a friendship that continues to this day. At some point in those early correspondences, she made an off-hand reference to a new book published by Dr. Pollack titled The Fourth Phase of Water. I had been waiting over a decade for him to publish another book. I immediately purchased and read it. I was once again blown away by what he was describing about his research on the unique structuring and properties of water when it is put in certain environments.

Looking back now I can say that this is where my life started changing in a dramatic way. I wrote a review of Dr. Pollack’s book that I posted a few places online. I also sent him an email with questions about his research. In that email I sent him a link to my review of his book in case he was interested. I was shocked that he not only took the time to reply and answer all my questions, but he liked my review so much that he invited me to dinner at his house in Seattle, just up the road from Portland, to enjoy an evening of food and conversation.

I made that trip up along with Maria Zilka, the nutrition therapist I had been working with for years. That dinner was one of the most enjoyable of my life. For many hours we sat around the dinner table talking about a big wide range of science topics, all of them considered “fringe” but that we both agreed were compelling. And Jerry (by this point we had become good friends and he insisted I drop the formality of “Dr. Pollack”) not only was familiar with all these fringe scientific theories I had been studying for years, but was personal friends with virtually every single one of the scientists behind each theory.

During that dinner he told us about an conference he organizes and hosts in Europe every year, called the International Conference on the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of Water, better known as the Water Conference. He insisted that we make every attempt to attend later that year (2014), and I felt it was imperative that we do. And so we did.

I returned to the same conference almost every year through the next seven or eight years, and it is one of the greatest honors of my life that Jerry asked me to speak at the conference three or four times over those years. Almost all speakers were talking about the physics and/or chemistry of the unique water structure Jerry had identified, but few were talking about the role of that water structure within living organisms. My talks explored how sulfur compounds and infrared light play a central role in water structuring in the body, and (in at least one of my talks) the destructive role that the herbicide glyphosate plays by breaking down that water structure.

As an aside, it is now widely recognized that water does in fact take on this unique structure in the body, but how if forms has never been explained in any peer reviewed paper. At the invitation of the editor of a prominent journal, Stephanie Seneff and I co-authored a paper in which we explained how this water forms, the role sulfur plays in that process, the key nutrients involved, and the how glyphosate exposure interferes with this vital process. The paper is somewhat technical, but you can read the full text here.

Note that the paper is published in the journal Water, a journal that Jerry founded and acted as the Editor-in-Chief, and not the journal which initially invited our paper as a submission. The reason for that illustrates the long arm of Monsanto, which manufactures glyphosate, reaching into academia to censor critical publications before they even appear in print. I will be telling the details of that story in an upcoming edition of my podcast. Be sure to subscribe so you get notified when I’ve posted new videos.

Over those years attending the Water Conference I met and had extended conversations with dozens of researchers who were developing ways to capture the medicinal potential of water. Over those same years I was motivated to do my own research into the therapeutic potential of water. Below are some of the therapies I have studied and have now made use of extensively at home for my personal use. Some of these I’ve “prescribed” for patients as well. If you are interested in more information about any of them please get on my schedule for a consultation and we can talk it all through.

IC Medicals

IC stands for “information copy.” This is a method of “imprinting” water with an electromagnetic pattern that is unique to any one of over a thousand different types of medicine. For instance, you can download and imprint your drinking water with the patterns of electromagnetic frequencies that are unique to, say, curcumin and Boswellia. If you have joint pain, you can drink this imprinted water and most people who do so will experience pain relief as though they had taken actual capsules of those herbs. You can read more about this system, including experiments showing that it is legit, at http://infopathy.com. If you would like to know more about how to implement it to support your own health and to have me create custom formulas of ICs specifically for you, sign up for a consultation and I’ll explain the process for getting set up for that.

Vortexing and Magnetism

These are two different ways of enhancing the therapeutic properties of water, but I’m combining them here because they can be done simultaneously at home. Previously I mentioned Victor Schauberger and his discovery of the importance of vortexing for living water. Other research has shown that, when a static magnetic field is applied to water used for irrigation, it enhances plant hydration and even improves plant nutrient content. The device I use at home is this one. I purchased two 1.5L bottles of water that I use for the vortexing. Instructions for how to set it up come with the device.

AdditWater

At the Water Conference I met a guy who was a cross between a water scientist and a medical intuitive named Jan Jesper. He introduced me to a system of modifying water to enhance its medicinal potential. It is a long story but you can learn more about his offerings here. I have the water bottle and the Power Plate, which are both sold at that site. When I had a big clinic in Portland I invested several thousand dollars to purchase this device from Jan’s company and in fact several years ago I served on a scientific advisory board Jan assembled to better understand and describe how the NEO device was modifying the structure and information content of the water in its environment.

Precious Pearls

This was actually one of the first products I discovered that claimed to modify and structure drinking water. Back when I first read about it probably 20 years ago there was only one supplier. Now I see that there are many and I have no way of vetting them to know which are legit. Maybe they all are, I don’t know. The idea is that a bag of these mineral granules is submerged in a container from which you pour your drinking water. The claim is that each bag contains granules of magnesium and other minerals that serve to “seed” the structuring of the water that comes into contact with them. After 24 hours the water is said to be structured in a way that allows it to better hydrate those drinking it. I have no idea if the “Prill water” as it is called is actually structured differently. What I can tell you is that when I did an experiment by watering one newly purchased small bamboo plant with Prill water and the other with filtered tap water, the Prill-watered bamboo grew much faster and quite dramatically larger.

One bag lasts a lifetime. The two bags I purchased long ago have traveled across the country with me and are still sitting in my refillable Pur water filtration container. Maybe they add some additional magic to my drinking water, who knows?

There are many devices that make claims about structuring water in a way that promotes health. Most of them, in their marketing material, make reference to Jerry’s work on “fourth phase” water and what he called an “exclusion zone” (EZ) that the water creates. I asked him about these products claiming to generate EZ water to promote health. He laughed it off and was obviously pretty incredulous about the claims, noting that he’d never seen the test results that would substantiate the claim (such as IR spectroscopy) posted to their websites.

Microminerals

In order for an EZ to form there has to be something for it to form on. Our body is filled with surfaces perfectly designed to maximize the amount of EZ water that forms in our bodies, and there are a number of therapies that can enhance that EZ formation. One of them is the presence of even minute quantities of charged micromineral compounds. There are many multimineral supplements on the market. From my personal research into the chemistry of the compounds that facilitate EZ formation in the body, I think Aurmina is an optimal source of these minerals. This is the only mineral product claiming to structure water that has actually performed spectroscopy to confirm the presence of EZs in the water, to the best of my knowledge. If you add Aurmina to a 500mL bottle of DDW like I do, the appropriate dilution is 10-13 drops added to each bottle, FYI.

Deuterium-Depleted Water (DDW)

Many of you are aware of my strong advocacy of drinking DDW both for treatment of many diseases (cancer, diabetes, anxiety, depression, fatigue, etc.) and for general health maintenance. DDW is not created with any device you purchase. It cannot be created in any appreciable quantity at home and must be purchased from one of only three global manufacturers. I purchase mine here, which is the only manufacturer based in the US. Whenever I’m applying one of the other water-modifications listed above to my drinking water, it is almost always DDW that I’m using. DDW can be purchased in various concentrations and can also be combined with both a deuterium-depleted diet and/or fasting to enhance its therapeutic potential.

As a footnote, DDW is a bit of an imposter in this list. Removing deuterium from drinking water does not alter the water’s structure or information content. It simply makes the water healthier to drink because deuterium (an isotope of hydrogen) is present in all water and food as well. Any substance containing hydrogen contains deuterium as well, and reducing the amount of deuterium in the body has a wide range of health benefits. Schedule with me if you’d like to get more details on how to implement any or all of the water-modification technologies I’ve listed here: https://gregnigh.com/schedule, Email Me, or 503-719-4806. When you schedule, mention that you’d like to consult about water therapies and I’ll be sure Lisa knows to apply a 15% discount to your consultation.
